Clyde Halbrooks is Buried Today at Hickory Hill

Clyde W. Halbrooks of Bluford rural route, died Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, at Mt. Vernon hospital. Mr. Halbrooks was born April 24, 1879, and his age was 52 years, 4 months and 25 days.

He is survived by his wife, and two sons, Harold of Bluford, and Ross at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Fern Clemmons, Bluford; and two brothers and four sisters. The brothers are Frank, of Bluford, and Hardy, of Mt. Vernon, and the sisters are, Mrs. Minnie Parke, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Anna Maddox, Oakland, Illl, Mrs. Kate Shoemaker, Newman, Ill., and Mrs. Emma Byers, DeKalb, Ill.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock, at east Hickory Hill, followed by burial at the cemetery adjoining the church.
