Annabelle S. (Tucker) Hamilton
Annabelle S. Hamilton, 86, of Scheller died April 1, 2006, at White Oak Care Center in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hamilton was born Jan. 27, 1920, in Monee to Charles and Ethel (Dewey) Tucker. She married Kenneth W. Hamilton Sept. 27, 1941; he survives. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sesser. The Rev. Steve Poole will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sylvia Czerwinski and husband Richard of Scheller; a granddaughter, Lisa Wisniewski and husband Allen of Scheller; a great-granddaughter, Caitlin Wisniewski of Scheller; and sisters Ethel Steinman of Steger and Cecilia Bland of St. Augustine, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George Adair and Charles Tucker; and a sister, Frances Stuckey. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sesser. She was a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of St. Mary's Alter Society and Catholic Daughters. Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home, 102 W.
