Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Hamlin will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Myers Chapel and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 10 am Saturday.

Mrs. Hamlin died Wednesday in Alton, Ill. at the age of 78 years, nine months and 11 days.

She was the mother of Mrs. Harry Bancroft of this city.

Mrs. Hamlin was born June 20, 1874 in Texas, the daughter of John H. and Elizabeth (Wilson) Mulvaney.

She was married to Homer Hamlin, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Arthur Mullinax of Mattoon and Harry Roy Ellery and five daughters, Mrs. Harry Bancroft of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Ed Briscoe and Mrs. Edna Benson of Albion and Mrs. Mable Hyman and Mrs. Ruby Hyman of Alton.
