Lewis Arthur "Art" Harlow
Arthur Harlow Funeral Services for L. Arthur "Art" Harlow 86, Fairfield, will Be held at 3 p.m. today at the Osborn funeral home at Dix, with the Rev. Ross Partridge officating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Harlow Died at 3 a.m. Saturday at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. A former Resident of Mt Vernon, he was a salesman for 53 years before his retirement.He had been employed by the Westchester hat company. He was born Nov. 15 1890 in Jefferson County, the son of Noah and Martha (Williams) Harlow. He married Anna knight, who preceded him in death in 1919. In August, 1924, he married Viola Duvall in Mt Carmel. She Survives. Mr. Harlow was a member of the Old Union Babtist Church of Mt. Vernon. Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Lester H. and David D. Harlow Of Decatur; two daughters, Thelma Smith of Louisville and Juanita Harlow of Mountain View Calif.; 14 grand children; 16 great grand children; and a great great grandchild. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, two brothers, a sister, three half brothers, three half sisters and a grandson. *NOTE* Lewis Arthur Harlow died in 1977
