MARTHA JANE HARLOW OF FARRINGTON DIES

Martha Jane (Mattie) Harlow, widow of W. E. Harlow, died at 11:50 p.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dora WARD near Bluford. She was 75 years, 11 months and 16 days of age.

Mrs. Harlow was born May 18, 1869 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Harriet (GRANT) Harlow.

On December 27, 1882 she was united in marriage to W. E. Harlow, who preceded her in death December 10, 1942.

Mrs. Harlow was the youngest of ten children and the mother of ten children.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dana ASHER, Cincinnati, O.; Mrs. Dora Ward, Bluford; Mrs. Ethel Mongague, Mt. Vernon; five sons, Pearl, Wolfe Point, Mont.; Neal, Thompson Falls, Mon.; Glen, Anna, Ill; Arthur, Seattle, Wash.; Harry, Van Nuys, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Two daughters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Harlow was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later and the body will remain at Myers chapel.
