Scheller - Frank Harmon, 73, of rural Scheller. died Saturday night at Miner's Hospital in Christopher.

Mr. Harmon was born in Illinois on April 22, 1899. the son of Edward and Lula (Roberson) Harmon.

He was married to Mary Sammons who died in 1962.

Mr. Harmon was a retired miner.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser, with the Rev. Floyd Hartley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. tonight.

Mr. Harmon is survived by three sons, William, Newport Richey, Fla., Ray, Peoria, and Frank Sr., (sic.) Sesser; two daughters. Mrs. Roberta Lance, Sesser. and Mrs. Mildred Downen, Scheller; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Prince Harmon, Du Quoin.
