Cora M. Hartley Of Waltonville Dies At Age 84

Mrs. Cora M. Hartley, of Waltonville, died at 5:25 a.m. today at the Cunningham Nursing Home, 1917 Casey Avenue. She was 84 years, six months and 16 days of age.

She was a member of the Universalist church at Waltonville, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Argyl Houser of Rochelle will officiate and burial will be in Knob Prairie cemetery, north of Waltonville. The body will remain at the Fry Funeral Home at Waltonville, where friends may call at any time after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Hartley was born August 1, 1831 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Henry C. and Mary E. (Gilbert) Foreman.

She is survived by one son, Clive of Waltonville; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and a brother, W. E. Foreman of Waltonville. Her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, and one sister preceded her in death.
