Walter W. Heaney
Walter W. HEANEY, of 316 S. 22nd Street, distribution Foreman for the Illinois Cities Water Company, died at 2:55 p.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 71y5m3d of age. Mr. HEANEY had been an employee of the local water company for the past 31 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at the Wesley Methodist Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. Gerald GULLEY will officiate and burial will be in Old Shiloh Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Osborn Funeral Home at Dix to the family home, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday. Mr. HEANEY was born April 15, 1886 in Mendon, IL, the son of Edward and Eliza Ann (DEAVOR) HEANEY. On September 9, 1904, he was married to Gertrude WOOD, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Glenn of East Peoria and Howard of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Bertha SHEHORN of Bunker Hill, IL.
