MARY J. HENSLEY RITES THURSDAY Mrs. Mary J. Hensley of 1230 Welkins, wife of William Hensley, died at 5:30 pm yesterday in St. Louis. She was 65 years, four months and one day of age. Her funeral will be held at 2 pm Thursday, January 10, in Myers chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ace Summers. Burial will be in Opdyke cemetery. The body will arrive in Mt. Vernon Wednesday evening and friends may call Thursday at Myers Chapel. Mrs. Hensley was born, Sept. 6, 1880 in Phelps County, Mo., the daughter of John and Lisa (Hayse) Beasley. She was married October 8, 1943, to Mr. Hensley. Suriving besides her husband are three sons, Alva, Clifford, and James Cox of St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Ina Spanevello of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Minnie Clark of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. George Hunter of St. Louis; and three brothers, Vernon Beasley of Los Angeles, William Beasley of Salt Lake City, and Robert Beasley of Birmingham, Ala.
