Mrs. Mary HIGGINSON, 66, of 115 So. 6th, died here Friday (January 28, 1966). She was dead on arrival at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Myers Chapel with the Rev. March Harpole officiating. Friends may call at the Myers Chapel after 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Old Shiloh Cemetery.

Mrs. Higginson was born August 22, 1899, in Jefferson County, the daughter of John H. and Myrtle (Lively) Chamness.

She was married October 5, 1917 to William England Sr., who died on February 2, 1953.

She was married December 13, 1958 at Mt. Vernon to Ernest Higginson who survives.

Other survivors include: Seven sons, William, Charles, Allen, Robert, Jerry and Donald all of Mt. Vernon, and Jess England of Aurora, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Phillips and Mrs. Glenda Borders, both of Mt. Vernon; her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Chamness of Mt. Vernon; one brother, Homer Chamness of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Florence Behrens of Ranier, Washington; 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was proceded in death by her father and three brothers.
