Mrs. Mabel Ruth Higginson, of 1707 So 15th st, died at 10:30 this morning at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past seven weeks. She was 58 yrs., four months and 14 days of age.

Mrs. Higginson was an aid at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 3, 1899 in Jefferson County, the daughter of August and Maggie (Pasley) Medders.

On April 22, 1917 she was marriedto Ernest Higginson, who survives.

She was a member of the CentralChurch of Christ.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Donna Page of Mt. Vernon: four sons, Bill and Gerald of Mt. Vernon, Marvin of Lafayette, In. and Kenneth of Park Rapids, Mn.: three brothers, Bryan, Melvin and George, all of Mt. Vernon and six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete. The body was taken to Meyers Chapel.
