Charles O. Highsmith

Charles O. Highsmith, 65, of Belle Rive, died yesterday evening at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren, pending the arrival of his son.

Mr. Highsmith was born May 31, 1905, in Jefferson county, the son of Charles Henry and Winona (Cummings) Highsmith.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby, and his son, Maj. Charles C. Highsmith. USAF, who is stationed in Italy.
