Mrs. Myrtle Highsmith, 77, of 17860 White St., died at 9:45 p.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Myers Funeral Service.

Mrs. Highsmith was born April 19, 1895, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Ed adn Eollie (Keefe) Estes.

She was married in Mt. Vernon, in 1917, to Blaine highsmith. he died in 1957.

She was a member of the Camp Ground Baptist church.

She is survived by a son, William Highsmith, Irvington, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wright, Centralia, and Mrs. Maxine Shelton, Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Raney of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Beulah Campbell of Opdyke; a brother, Dale Estes, Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
