Charles C. Hill Dies At Age 81; Rites Tomorrow

Charles C. Hill, a former resident of the Kell neighborhood, died Monday at the Illinois Christian Home in Jacksonville, Ill.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Donoho Prairiie Christian church, with the Osborn Funeral Home of Kell in charge. The Rev. Burdette Wantland will officiate and burial will be in the family burial plot in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Ada S. Hill of Mt. Vernon; one son, Joy W. Hill of Springfield; two brothers, Sanford Hill of Mt. Vernon and Willie Hill of North Dakota; and three sisters, Mrs. Julia Higginbothan and Mrs. Martha Tate of Kell and Mrs. Grace Beckham of Osgood, Ind.
