Delbert Renzo Hodge, 70, of Bonnie, died at 12:05 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was a retired car shops employee.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fry Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Abner cemetery in Nason. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.

Born in Elk Prairie township on Oct. 5, 1903, he was the son of Luther Nepoleon and Dee (Holloway) Hodge.

He was married to Ethel Sigwerth, who survives.

Mr. Hodge was a member of Elk Prairie Christian church.

Besides his wife, Ethel, survivors include two sons, Merlin of Mt. Vernon, and Kent of Sesser; a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Maxine) Darnell of Mt. Vernon; and five grandchildren.

He was prededed in death by his parents and a sister.
