Charles Hodge Of Waltonville Dies At Age 86 Charles Quincy Hodge, 86, died at 7:00 o'clock Wednesday night at his home in Waltonville. Mr. Hodge was a retired railroad section worker. Funeral arrangements were incomplete today, pending word from a son who is stationed on Midway Island with the U.S. Navy. The body was taken to the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville. Mr. Hodge was born April 9, 1870 in Jefferon county, the son of James and Martha (Hudson) Hodge. He was first married to Dora Leonard, who preceded him in death in 1919. On September 21, 1921 he was married to Anna Rightnowar, who survives. Mr. Hodge was a member of the Elk Prairie Christian church. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, James Olin and William Francis of Decatur, Charles Ray of Maroa and Gary Lloyd, who is stationed on Midway Island with the U.S. Navy; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Fagan of Waltonville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Estelle Holloway and Mrs. Irene Green of Waltonville; 11 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; a brother, Ed Hodge of Sesser; and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Fred of Longmont, Colo. His parents, a brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
