Estelle Lee (Loman) Holloway
Estelle Holloway Of Waltonville Died At Age 68 Estelle Lee Holloway, 68, Waltonville, died at 10:50 a.m. Monday in St. Luke’s West Hospital in St. Louis. She was a retired postal employee of Waltonville. Mrs. Holloway was born in Reydell, Ark., Dec. 1, 1914, the daughter of Grover and Anna (Rightnowar) Loman. In April 1942, in Jefferson County, she married Pearl Holloway, who died Oct. 8, 1971. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fry & Frick Funeral Chapel in Waltonville with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Knob Prairie Cemetery in Waltonville. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Mrs. Holloway was a member of the Waltonville United Methodist Church, the Rebekah Lodge at Waltonville and various historical and genealogical societies. Survivors include one son, Arthur Lee Holloway of Waltonville; three stepsons, Greer Holloway of Mt. Vernon and Maxey and William Holloway of Waltonville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Edna Kennedy of New Mexico and Mrs. Marie Gee of Alpena, Mich.; one brother, Gary Loyd Hodge of Waltonville, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Newell and Mrs. Irene Green, both of Waltonville. Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one stepson and one stepdaughter.
