Howard E. Holloway
Howard E. Holloway, 81, of Eldorado, formerly of Wayne City, died 3:40 p.m. May 13, 2003, at Eldorado Care Center. He was a retired pipe fitter. Mr. Holloway was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Jefferson County to Pearl Holloway and Hailey Haynes. He was formerly married to Eleanor E. Levin. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Valhallia Cemetery in Belleville. The Rev. Stanley Mathews will officiate. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. He is survived by three sons, Tyco Lynwood Holloway of Ava, Okla., Roger Allen Holloway and wife Karen of Tulsa, Okla., and Dennis Holloway and wife Alpha of St. Louis; five grandchildren; and a sister, Vivian Harollwell. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Bluford American Legion. Richardson Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. You may call 895-2121 for information.
