Leland Hughes Dies at Sullivan

Albert Woodworth has received word of the death of his cousin, Leland Hughes, which occurred at his home in Sullivan, Ill. Sunday morning. Death was due to heart disease.

Mr. Hughes was the eldest son of Charley and Kate (Epperson) Hughes, formerly of this county.

His parents preceded him in death

Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife, Etta, three daughters, five sons, eight grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers, all living in the Sullivan and Decatur, Ill, areas.

Mr. Hughes has many relatives in this community. He often visited here and will be missed at the Hughes reunion, which he attended here each August.

Funeral services will be hdl tomorrow at Sullivan.
