Carl C. Jackson, 94, of Bluford IL died at 4:25 AM April 9, 2000 at his home.

Mr Jackson was retired from Ilinois Central Railroad, where he worked for 42 yrs. as track supervisor from 1952 until retitrment.

He was born Jan 27, 1906 in Illmo Mo. a son of John and Sophia (Clajus) Jackson.

On Aug 16, 1924 he married Ada B Clark, who died Dec 31 1991.

Private services were held at Richardson Funeral Home, Waye City, with Revs. Everett Lemay and Gale Breeze, burial was in Thomason Cemetery.

Surviviors include four sons,three daughters-in-law Bruce and Patty Jackson of Bluford, Larry and Carol Jackson of Ina, James and Pat Jackson of Marissa, and Robert of Bluford, three daughters, Marilyn Jackson of Bluford, JoAnn and Kenneth Farris of Beech Grove Ky. and Juanita and Robert Phillips of Anna,25 grandchilren, 29 great-grand children and 2 great-great children. three brothers, Chester of Sparta, Donald of Tilden and Andrew of Aurora, Co.

In addition to his wife he was preceeded in death by his parents, two sons,Vernon and John, one grandson, one brother, one sister,and two daughters-in-law.
