Mrs. Sarah JOHNSON died at 10:20 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Levi BRADEN, 708 S. 12th Street. Her age was 83y1m23d.

Mrs. JOHNSON was born April 16, 1860 in Elk Prairie Twp., the daughter of Elbert and Jane (HODGE) ROBERSON.

She was united in marriage with David JOHNSON, who preceded her in death November 9, 1932. Mrs. JOHNSON was a member of the Elk Prairie Christian Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Levi BRADEN of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Easter St. CLAIR and Mrs. Kate GREEN of Waltonville; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete today. However the body will lie in state at Myers Chapel until 1 p.m. Tuesday, then will be taken to the home of her daughter, 708 S. 12th Street, where friends may call up to the funeral hour.
