John A. Kinman
John A. KINMAN of Bonnie, a retired farmer, died at 2:20 this morning at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was 86 years, 2 months and 18 days of age. Mr. KINMAN, in failing health for the past four years, had been critically ill at the hospital for two weeks. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bonnie Baptist Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. Guy TACKITT of Sesser will officiate and burial will be in the cemetery at Waynesville, Ill. The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Sunday. Mr. KINMAN was born March 6, 1872 in Howel County, Mo., the son of William and Minerva KINMAN. He was first married to Alice RAMSEY, who preceded him in death. He was later married to Minnie CASEY, who survivies. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Calvin of Normal, Ill., and Cecil of Modesto, Calif.; two daughters, Helen PILSON of Clay City and Louella KITCHELL of Salt Lake City, Utah; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles KINMAN of Canton, S. D., Lee KINMAN of Sioux City, Iowa, and Will KINMAN of Decatur; and a half-brother Merle RYAN of Atlanta, GA. His parents, a son and a brother preceded him in death.
