Pearl Ann (Kinman) Kirk
Mrs. Pearl Ann KIRK of the Benton Road, wife of Claude KIRK, died 9:45 this morning at Good Samaritan Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past four days. She was 55 years, three months, and 15 days of age. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Myers Chapel. The Rev. T. H. DORRIS will officiate and burial will be in Bethel Memorial Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. KIRK was born October 3, 1898 in Bonnie, the daughter of Joseph A. and Charlottie (PIERCE) KINMAN. On February 28, 1921 she was married, in Mt. Vernon, to Claude KIRK who survives. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. KINMAN of Mt. Vernon and two brothers, Nelson KINMAN of Mt. Vernon and Oren KINMAN of St. Louis. A brother Hearl, preceded her in death.
