Kniffen, 56, former resident of Belle Rive, who died Sunday in a veterans' hospital at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Mr. Kniffen was born March 3, 1890 in Belle Rive, the son of charles C. and Minnie (Davenport) Kniffen. He had lived in St. Louis for the past 30 years. ,p> The Rev. Bird Green will conduct the Belle Rive services tomorrow and burial will be in the New Hope cemetery.He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Dearvogle and Mrs. Helen Marle Lurtz, of Maplewood, Mo., one sister, Mrs. S.B.
