Rites Tomorrow For Rita Knight

Funeral services for Rita LaVonne Knight, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Knight of 1241 North 10th Street, will be held Friday at 2: p.m. at the Old Union Baptist Church. The Rev. Ross Partridge will officiate and burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call at anytime until the funeral hour at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.

Rita was born September 5, 1947, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Chambliss) Knight.

She had been ill since last June. (Lung Cancer).

Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Noel Dean Chambliss of Mt. Vernon, Neil Knight of the U.S. Air Force at Amarillo, Texas and Marvin Knight, of the U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Va.; one sister, Barbara and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly DeMent of Mt. Vernon.
