Edna (Green) Krohe
Funeral services were held at the Waltonville Free Will Baptist church at 2:00 p.m. today for Mrs. Edna Krohe, who died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the family home in Waltonville from a heart attack. The Rev. Tracy Dees conducted the funeral and burial followed in Knob Prairie cemetery. Mrs. Krohe was born in Jefferson county February 23, 1903, the daughter of Harry Green, Sr. and Anna (Gilbert) Green. She was married July 12, 1946 to Harold Krohe, who survives. Surviving, besides her husband, are her father, Harry Green, Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. Reva Petty of Waltonville, and Mrs. Avis Cherry of Chicago: three grandchildren: six half-brothers, Harry, Jr. of Waltonville, Elvis of Waltonville, and George, Marion, Bob and Charles of Chicago; four half-sisters, Mrs. Nina Aquilar of El Paso, Tex., Mrs. Sona Barker of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Lela Lane of Chicago, and Mrs. Opal Siebert of Christopher.
