Warren Joseph LaFlamme, 83, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 10:20 am March 4, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

He was born October 2, 1940 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Warren Joseph and Louise LaFlamme.

Warren married Nadene (DuBois) LaFlamme in April of 1960.

In addition to his beloved wife of over sixty years, Warren is survived by his daughter; grandson, JohnLuke Carter of Mount Vernon; granddaughters, Janelle Dearing of Centralia, Illinois, Katie Beard and husband, Tyler of Mount Vernon, and Rebecca Kane of Mount Vernon; ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his son, Warren LaFlamme and son-in-law, Oval H. Austin, Jr..

Mr. LaFlamme proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He attended Illinois State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 1977.. Warren served as an Elder at Victory Christian Church in Mount Vernon since 1988. He lived a life of ministry and proudly served God and his community. Warren was also a member of Mount Vernon Rotary Club.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Victory Christian Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 pm.
