Mrs. Carl Lawson Of Benton Dies

Elsie Lawson, wife of Carl Lawson of Benton, died it 2:40 a.m. Tuesday at the Miners' Hospital in Christopher. She was 64 years of age.

Mrs. Lawson was a former resident of this community.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Doris Jean McGill of Calumet City. Ill., and one son, James Lawson of Benton. Also one brother, Bill Leonard of Peoria, and five sisters, Mrs. Kate Kelley, Mrs. Ollie Darnell and Mrs. Mary Beaty of Ina;Mrs. Ruby Kelley of Drumright, Okla., and Mrs. Bertha Hayse of Evansvllle., Ind.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Nazarene Church In Benton. Burial will be at Kirk cemetery.
