Mrs. HARRIET LEONARD Died Tuesday Morning At Home Of Daughter, Mrs. Samuel LAIRD, In Brooksland Heights, Funeral Wednesday

Mrs. Harriet LEONARD, aged 93, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam LAIRD, 312 S. Twenty-First St., Brooksland Heights, Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock.

She was Mrs. LAIRD's mother. Mrs. LEONARD's death was due to a cancer, from which she had been a terrible sufferer, but in spite of her great affliction she was quite active up to two months ago. Her affliction first became apparent about a year ago. The wonder is that her life was prolonged as long as it was.

Early in life she professed religion and became a member of the Methodist church.

In addition to Mrs. LAIRD the other children are Mrs. Geo. JONES, Howell, Ind.; Miss May LEONARD, Springfield; G. B. LEONARD, Danville; John LEONARD, south of this city. Among the nieces and nephews are Mrs. Emory RUTHERFORD, Mrs . Frank HUTCHISON, Mrs. Sam FROST and J.L. HUTCHISON, of this city.

The funeral services will be conducted at the LAIRD residence, Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, by Rev. W. F. DANIEL, followed by interment at Pleasant Grove.
