ANNA LEIBENGOOD DIES AT AGE 92; RITES THURSDAY Mrs. Anna Leibengood of 704 S. 21st Street died at 3:00 A.M. today at the Schumm Nursing Home in Bluford. She was 92 years and two days old. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Freytag officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 P.M. Wednesday. She was born March 17, 1871 in St. Louis, [Missouri] the daughter of Simon and Mary (Kassel) Weingartner. She was married to Jacob Leibengood, who preceded her in death on May 20, 1951. She is survived by a son, Roy Weingartner; a step-daughter, Mrs. Nina Hertenstein, both of this city; two step-sons, Roy Leibengood of Mt. Vernon and Harry Leibengood of Mountain Home, Arkansas; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Leibengood was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
