Wesley G. Lemay
Wesley G. Lemay, 63, Danville, formerly, of Mt. Vernon, died 12:19 pm. Sept. 26, 1988, at Americana Health Center in Danville. Mr. Lemay was a file clerk for Rock Island Arsenal for 26 Years. He retired Aug. 20, 1976, as an Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Lemay was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Mt. Vernon, a son of Sheridan G. and Nora C. (Tabor) Lemay. April 28, 1947, in Paducah, Ky., he married Virginia M. Haley, who survives. Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. William Burton officiating. No public visitation will be held, Memorials may be made to Southside Church of the Nazarene in Tilton and will be accepted at any time at Hughey Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Those attending the graveside services are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Wednesday. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lemay is survived by three daughters, Linda Seabert, Glenda Winn and Mrs. Charles (Leona) Allaben, all of Danville; four grand children, Bobby Joe Winn, Vicki Seabert, Nikki Winn and Jason Allaben; one brother, Dale Lemay and wife, Mary, of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mary Amore of Danville and Mrs. Leo (Wilma) Franklin of Mt. Vernon; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lemay was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene in Tilton. Mr. Lemay was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
