Millicent "Millie" (Lynch/Osborn ) Lemons
Millicent "Millie" Lemons, age 91, of Waltonville, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2004 at Nature Trial Health Care Center in Mt.Vernon. Mrs. Lemons was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Sesser. She was born February 5, 1913 in Elk Prairie Township in Jefferson County. She married Arthur Lemons on September 8, 1934 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 1996. Surviving are one brother, Neal Osborn and wife Bernice of Nason; one brother-in-law, John R. Pigg and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Shirley Pigg and three brothers, Francis, Donald and Wayne Osborn. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser with Rev. Dan Williams officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Those attending the funeral were asked to go directly to the cemetery. Friends called at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser after 6 p.m. Monday, March 22.
