Mrs. Faye Lerch, 71, of 2216 Broadway, died at 12:15 a.m. today at Springfield Memorial Hospital, in Springfield, Ill.

Mrs. Lerch was born in Bucklin, Mo., on Dec. 22, 1901, the daughter of William E. and Elizabeth (Henning) Pratt.

She was married to John E. Lerch, who died in December, 1957.

Mrs. Lerch was a member of the First United Methodist church, and of the Eastern Star, Federated Women's Club, Business and Professional Women's Club, Illinois Education Society, National Education Association, and Pi Kappa Sigma social sorority.She was a retired Mt. Vernon school teacher.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Carl E. Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 5 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Lerch is survived by one son, Donald Lerch, Springfield; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
