Mrs. Martha LINDSAY, wife of James Lindsay, died at the family home on Lee avenue at 8:30 Saturday night after a prolonged illness. Deceased was 76 years of age and her death was due more to the infirmities of age than to any well defined disease. Her health had been declining for several years and for some weeks had been in a very precarious condition and the announcment of her demise yesterday was not greatly surprising to her friends.

She leaves a husband, four sons and one daughter to mourn her death, viz, John, Simeon, Henry and Mack Lindsay and Mrs. Henry Harpool.

She was a religious woman and for many years was a communicant of the Presbyterian church but more recently has been an adherent of the Advent faith.

The funeral was held at the East Mt. Vernon Epworth Mission at 1:30 this afternoon, Rev. W. A. Browder officiating. The burial was at Sursa graveyard.
