Betty B. Loman, 67, died in the Emergency Room of the Good Samaritan Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 1, in the Brayfield-Gilbert funeral Home in Sesser. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, and friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday to the funeral home.

Mrs. Loman was born on Dec. 30, 1932, in Sesser, the daughter of John and Gladys (Wingo) Pierce.

She married William J. Loman on May 31, 1952. He survives.

She was a homemaker and delivered papers for the Mt. Vernon Register News for 30 years. She was a member of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church for 30 years.

In addition to her husband William, survivors include six children, Rhonda and James Bullington, Mt. Vernon; Kathy and Gene Jones, Bluford; Jeff and Jan Loman, Hollister, Mo. Peggy Porter, Mt. Vernon; Steve and Paula Loman and David and Michelle Loman all of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren; Christine, Billy, Michelle, Jamie, Carrie, Candy, Jefferey, Sarah, Ryan, Katie, Cody, Jason, Jessie; great-grandchildren Tyler, Taylor, Trey, Kile, Kaelynn, Tiffany, Trever, Jay, Lacy; five brothers and sisters; Modena Edwards, Neoma Huffman, Linda Duckworth, Roy Pierce, Janet McQueen.
