Ernest J. Batise Loman
Ernest B. Loman, Ex-Waltonville Resident, Dies Ernest B. Loman, 71, of Morrisonville, Ill., a former resident of Waltonville, died at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday at his home, following an apparent heart attack. He was an employee of the Freeman Crown Mine at Farmersville, where he worked Monday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Bivin Funeral Home in Morrisonville, with the Rev. John G. Stange officiating. Burial will be in the Morrisonville cemetery The body will lie in state at the Bivin Funeral Home in Morrisonville, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Loman was born November 21, 1897, in Waltonville, the son of John W. and Elizabeth (Hicks) Loman. He was married February 27, 1933, to Waunita Wilson, who survives. Survivors include three sons, Everett Vern Loman of New York City, N.Y., John Edward Loman of Springfield and Ernest B. Loman Jr., of Taylorville; three daughters, Nancy Ann Loman of Lincoln, Carol Sue Lashbrook of Taylorville and LaDonna Grace Loman, at home; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a member of the United Mine Workers —9746, and of the Royal Neighbors of America Lodge 188.
