SESSER -- Nellie Dean Loucks, 72, died on Aug. 11, 2004, in Benton Healthcare Center.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, in Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Interment will be in Horse Prairie Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Loucks was a homemaker. She was a member of Bearpoint Free Will Baptist Church.

She was born July 17, 1932 in Pinckneyville to Henry Jacob Stotz and Adelia Elizabeth Pabst.

She was married to Carson Leroy Loucks. He preceded her in death Oct. 19, 2003.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David Ray and Debbie Loucks of Herrin, Paul Eugene and Becky Loucks of Pinckneyville, and Donald Allen and Freda Loucks of Sesser; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Paul Roberts of Sesser and Resa Faye and Glenn Gulley of Sesser; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Stotz of Carpenterville.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Roy Stotz; and one sister, Bertha Dunn.
