Annie B. Mannen Dies Here Sunday; Rites Wednesday

Mrs. Annie Belle Mannen, of 1716 Cherry street, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 82 years, two months and six days of age.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. ar Myers Chapel. The Rev. Andrew Caraker will officiate and burial will be in Knob Prairie cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Mannen was born December 14, 1872 in Jefferson county, the daughter of John and Laura (Bravard) Wells.

She was married to Jerome S. Mannen, who preceded her in death in 1932.

Mrs. Mannen was a member of the Universalist church at Waltonville.

She is survived by two sons, Walter of Mt. Vernon and Merle of Rockford, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Iva Hester of Waltonville; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Eater of Mt. Vernon; one brother, Dr. J. W. Wells of Waltonville; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
