John F. McCARMICK. young Jefferson County farmer, died yesterday at his home near Cravat after an illness of two weeks. His age was 21 years, 11 months, and 22 days.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the Boyd Christian Church, conducted by Rev. T. A. HARPER of Mt. Vernon, and burial will follow in Boyd Cemetery.

Mr. McCARMICK was born March 22, 1919 (? not legible) in Clay County, Tennessee, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George McCARMICK. He came to Illinois with his parents in 1928.

He was united in marriage on January 22, 1940 to Ethel LENEAVE, who survives.

Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George McCARMICK of Cravat; five brothers, Charlie, Norwood, Eugene, Delmar and Vernon, all of Cravat; and four sisters, Mrs. James CAMPBELL of Richview, Mrs. Arnold LUCKING of Centralia, Eula McCARMICK and Norma Mae McCARMICK of Cravat.
