Owen C. McCraw Dies at Age 84

Owen Chester McCraw, a retired farmer and decorator, died this morning at his home on the Benton Road, in Dodds township. His age was 84 years, six months and 14 days.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p. m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. S. E. Cole officiating and burial will be in Bethel Memorial cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 10 a. m. Wednesday.

Mr McCraw was born May 22, 1865 in Ohio, the son of William and Rachel (Cramblit) McCraw.

He was married to Minerva Gibbs who survives Mr. McCraw ha (sic.) a resident of Jefferson county for the past 47 years.
