Mrs. Mary McGuire, aged 42, entered into rest Saturday evening after a long and painful illness, her death being due to a tubercular affection. Death occured at the family residence on south tenth street.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sarah Stephenson, brothers, Wm. J and Finis R. Stephenson and husband Wm. McGuire of this city and Robert Stephenson of Canton, Ill.

Mrs. McGuire throughout her illness was patient and uncomplaining, but was resigned to the coming of her death.

She had long been a member of the Methodist Church, and when permitted was faithful to the teachings of that branch of religious work.

The funeral service was conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Interment at Oakwood.
