John C. McNutt of 811 Jordan died Friday morning at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and eight days.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. James Jeffries officiating, Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 6:00 pm today.

Mr. McNutt was born July 18, 1885, in Moultrie county, the son of William P. and Jennie (Bristow) McNutt.

He is survived by three sisters; Mrs. Nell Stonesypher of this city, Mrs. Inez Raynar of Homer, Ill., and Mrs. Etta Morrison of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
