John Milliner
John Milliner, 77, Danville, died 2:31 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Danville Care Center. He was born July 24, 1927, in Bonnie, a son of Charles and Mary (Bodine) Milliner. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at South Hickory Hill Cemetery, Bonnie. The Rev. Jesse Allen will officiate. Mt. Vernon American Legion Post 141 will conduct military graveside rites. Those attending the service Friday are asked to meet at the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Johnston Funeral Home, Ina, is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include a brother, Clifford Milliner of Tilden; nieces Mary Sue Woods of Mt. Vernon, Kay Nichols of Chicago and Mary Jean Rinehold of Redbud; a sister, Hazel Chapman of Chester; and nephews Bill Badgett of Hurst, Don Nichols of Mt. Vernon, Bob Nichols of Colorado, Ray Chapman of Redbud and Jim Chapman of Redbud. Mr. Milliner was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Eva Badgett, Elsie Nichols and Golden Wilson; and one brother, Charles Milliner Jr.
