Oscar Milliner Dies At Age 81; Thursday Funeral

Oscar L. Milliner, 82, 1300 Broadway, died yesterday at 4:45 p.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital

The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel. Burial will be in in Bethel Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Milliner was born June 27, 1887 in Jefferson county, the son of John and Pulaina (Hester) Miliner.

Mr. Milliner, a retired farmer, was married to Iva Campbell, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Jewel Jones and Mrs. Sue Haney, Hammond, Ind., Mrs. Ila Mae Schrum, Lockport, Mrs. Mary Gowler, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Norma Jean Jones, Belle Rive; two step-daughters, Mrs. Frieda Donnelly, Logansport, Ind., and Mrs. Dorothy Leathers, Mt. Vernon; one brother, Dave Milliner, Mt. Vernon; 20 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Mr. Milliner was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
