Huston Moore
Huston Moore, Wabash Veteran, Dies at 74 Huston Moore, 74, of 1219 North Clinton street, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Wabash Employe's hospital. He had been in failing health for about two years and suffered a heart attack yesterday morning. He was born in Jefferson county, Illinois, Nov. 28, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Moore. In 1896 he mararied Eva Cremeens at Belle Rive, Ill. Mr. Moore came to Decatur about 30 years ago from Bluford, Ill. He worked for the Wabash railroad for 24 years as a clerk in the storeroom department. he was a member of the Salem Baptist church and the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks here. Mr. Moore leaves his wife, who is critically ill at Decatur and Macon County hospital, and two sons, Guy H. of Decatur and James R. of Dallas, Texas. Two brothers, Edward of Bluford and Morton, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren also survive. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. The body is at the J.J. Moran & Sons funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete.
