Pearl (Terry) Morgan
Pearl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. T. TERRY, was born August 16th, 1889 and departed this life June 8, 1917. Aged 27y9m23d. She was united in marriage to Floyd F. MORGAN, October 15, 1911, and to this union were born 1 child Evelyn Melvina, aged 3 years. She accepted Christ as her Savior about the age of 14 years and was a most faithful worker in the Sunday School, church and Christian Endeavor at West Salem and Wolfe Prairie until her marriage. She then moved to Mt. Vernon, where it was impossible for her to take an active part in her former duties. She was a loving wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. Throughout her illness she bore her suffering without a murmur and possessed patience to the end when the soul peacefully took its flight to the home of bliss above. While we grieve our loss we can rest assurred that it is a gain to her. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, one daughter, a father and mother, three sisters and five brothers. She also leaves a host of friends. The funeral was conducted by Rev. M. S. BUMPUS at two 0'clock Sunday afternoon.
