Imogene (Lynn) Hunter Overbey, 54, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois died Saturday, November 11, 2006, 8:14 P.M. in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

She was born on October 20, 1952 in Festus, Missouri a daughter to William Davis Hunter & Geneva (Boyster).

She married Albert Overbey on March 4, 1993 in Benton, Illinois.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30PM Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois. Reverend Chuck Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8:00PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. burial will follow at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois.

Survivors include Daughter: Elizabeth Reeder of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 Sons: Jack Reeder of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Daniel Reeder of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; Brother: Bill Hunter and wife Tama of East Alton, Illinois; 4 Sisters: Katherine E. Hunter of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Helen Hunter of Arkansas; Loretta King of DeSoto, Missouri and Peggy King of Arnold, Missouri; 2 Grandchildren: Timothy and Aaron.

Her parents preceded her in death.
