Anna Overton Dies at Age 59 Mrs. Anna Overton, colored, a resident of Mt. Vernon for the past nine years, died at 1:40 o'clock this morning at her home, 1024 Jones street. Her age was 59 years, three months and 14 days. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00 p. m. at the Corinthian Baptist church, with the Rev. J. R. Johnson officiating and burial will be in Bethel Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the family home at any time after 5:00 p. m. Saturday. Mrs. Overton Is survived by her husband, James Overton of Mt. Vernon; a son Timike (sic.) Donaldson of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Robinson of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Opal Blanks of Paducah, Ky.; four brothers, U. L.. Ellis, Lewis and Hewitt, all of Carbondale; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Webb of Carbondale; two grandchildren and a great grandchild. Two sons and one daughter preceded her in death.
