Mrs. Overturf Dies 5 Days After Husband's Death Mrs. Isabelle Sarah (Norris) Overturf of the Ashley Road, Mt, Vernon, died last evening at the home of her son, Earl, in Ashley. Her death occurred six days after her 84th birthday and, five days after the death of her husband, William Martin Overturf, on January 1. Mr. and Mrs. Overturf were married March 23, 1884. Funeral services will be held at the Kringer Funeral Home in Ashley, Saturday at 2 p. m., with the Reverend Kenneth Holland in charge. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends may call at the funeral home until the funeral hour. Surviving are five sons, Charles and Edgar of Mt.Vernon, Earl of Ashley, Vallie of St. Louis, Mo;, and Newton of Saunemin, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Emma Summers of Louisville, Ill., two brothers, Hugh and Walter Norris of Du Quoin; nine grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. A son, William Pearl Overturf, and a daughter, Mrs. Callie Clay, also preceded her in death.
