Malinda Hannah (Sneed) Sanders Page

Malinda Hannah SNEED was born in Warren County, near Bowling Green, Ky., April 4th 1842, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nannie RONEY, 438 Herbert Street, March 15, 1911, age 68y 11m 11d.

She was converted to the Christian religion and joined the Missionary Baptist Church in 1858 and held her membership with the Bethel Church, of Hamilton County, when she died.

She was married to John T. SANDERS October 27, 1860, in Kentucky, who died in 1864.

Two children were born to the union, Mary J., who preceded her mother to the better world, February 25, 1906, and James D. of Macedonia, Ill.

She was married the second time to John M. PAGE, of Hamilton County, February 15, 1866, who deceased this life September 19th, 1897. To this union eight children were born.

The following children survive her: Mrs. Nannie RONEY, Louisa SMITH, Lottie McCARTY, Myrtle HUNGATE, Lizzie MONICAL and Harvey PAGE, of this city. There are 25 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one step son, Andrew Jackson PAGE; 7 step grandchildren; and 4 brothers, John B., David, Elijah, and Andrew Jackson; also 3 half-brothers and one half sister, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She was a true Christian, an effectionate wife and a kind and loving mother, and loved by all who knew her. She is gone but not forgotten our loss is her gain.
